On January 7 of each year the "Judicial Branch Day" is commemorated, as established in Article 40 paragraph of Law No. 327-98, of August 11, 1998, of the Judicial Career.
Traditionally, this day is celebrated with a floral offering at the Altar of the Homeland, a mass of thanksgiving and culminates with a Solemn Hearing at the Supreme Court of Justice, where the presiding judge gives an account of the previous year and presents the goals, plans and programs of the Judicial Branch.
