The President of the Supreme Court of Justice and of the Judicial Council, Luis Henry Molina Peña, received the visit of the technical mission delegation of the Center of Excellence for Statistical Information on Government, Public Security, Victimization and Justice (UNODC-INEGI) based in Mexico and of la National Statistics Office (ONE).
The meeting discussed the objective of generating structured information, improving the collection of information and transparency of justice, with the intention of impacting the quality and access to justice for vulnerable groups, especially those deprived of liberty.
The National Statistics Office (ONE) and the international commission highlighted the progress made by the Judicial Branch in terms of transformation and expressed their interest in working together.
Salomé Flores, director of the Center of Excellence for Statistical Information on Government, Public Security, Victimization and Justice (UNODC-INEGI); Laura Faxas, ambassador of the Dominican Republic Mission in Austria; Miosotis Rivas Peña, director general of ONE; José Guillermo Castillo Koschnick, deputy director general of National Government Policies and Censuses of INEGI. In addition, Mildred Martínez, director of Demographic, Social and Environmental Statistics of the National Statistics Office of ONE; Crismairy Jiménez, director of Standards and Methodology of ONE; and Wilson Dicén, in charge of relations with Europe.
Representing the Judicial Branch were Javier Cabreja, General Coordinator of Communications and Public Affairs; Welvis Beltrán, General Technical Director (acting); Rosaura Quiñones, Director of Analysis and Public Policy; and Rosa Iris Linares, Director of Inclusive Justice.
