The Judicial Power Council, in its regular session No. 20-2022 dated July 5, 2022, approved the update of the Judicial Scale, pursuant to the provisions of Article 14 of Resolution 001-2021, which establishes the Regulation that organizes the Judicial Scale System and the System for the Provision of Judicial Positions.
The purpose of the judicial career ladder is to allow judges to develop in the judicial career, moving from one category to another based on seniority, personal and professional merit.
The update of the Scale, which must be done every year, has as a novelty the fact that it will be possible to consult the documents evidencing the capacity and merits of the judges by clicking on the name of the judge that is available in the Scale consultation tool.
